Flara is a daily personal-reading service operated by INKSCROLL JOURNEYS LTD (“Flara”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16659327). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built Flara privacy-first — most importantly, your photo is never stored.

Your photo is read once, then discarded

When you use Flara, your photo is processed only in the moment, only to generate your reading, and is never stored, logged, saved to a database, or shared. It exists in memory for the few seconds needed to create your reading and is then discarded. We do not keep your image, and we do not build a facial profile of you.

Information we collect

• Email address — if you join our waitlist or create an account, so we can contact you and give you access.
• Your readings — if you use the app, the text of your daily readings (your element, scores, and suggested action) is saved to your account so you can revisit your history. This is derived data, not your photo.
• Payment information — if you subscribe, payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe, or the Apple/Google app stores). We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Basic usage data — standard analytics such as pages visited and device type, used to keep the service reliable.

How we use your information

To provide your readings, maintain your account and history, process subscriptions, respond to you, keep the service secure, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Flara. Where they process data on our behalf, they are bound to protect it:

• Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini) — generates your reading from your photo. The image is sent for processing and not retained for training (zero-data-retention configuration).
• Supabase — accounts, authentication, and storage of your reading history.
• Stripe — subscription payments.
• ElevenLabs — optional voice playback of your reading (text only; your photo is never sent).
• Vercel — hosting of our website and app.

Data retention

We keep your account data and reading history for as long as your account is active. Your photo is never retained. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@yourflara.com and we will respond within the time required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously.

Children

Flara is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new “last updated” date.
